I made it through as a Finalist in the 2023’s Artist of the Year competition with The SAA......
I entered my painting into the Landscape or Woodland Scene category where My pastel painting 'Dusk Falling in September' impressed the judges to make the final round of judging. It was a tough competition with nearly 2000 entries and it really was a lovely suprise to get so far!
As a finalist, my work secured a spot to be displayed in the Artist of the Year Exhibition in London. Nearly a hundred amazing artworks that were displayed in the gallery featured everything from city or street scene, pets, nature, portraits, landscapes, and much more besides and all by SAA members from the UK, United States, Italy, Ireland, France and Singapore.
The exhibition was held at Espacio Gallery, London, 19-22nd October 2023.
